Nissan and Datsun present at GIIAS Makassar 2016 - PT Nissan Motor Indonesia (NMI) will re-participate in Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) Makassar 2016 which runs from May 18-22, 2016 at Four Points Sheraton. In this event, Nissan will present the flagship products of Nissan and Datsun.

Nissan will showcase X-Trail 2.5 CVT, March 1.2 AT and Grand Livina HWS Autech, and provide March and X-Trail units for test drives. While Datsun will showcase GO Panca T-Active and GO + Panca T-Style.

Hana Maharani, Head of Communications of NMI, explains, Makassar is an important city for our business development in South Sulawesi.In fiscal year 2015, we managed to market more than 1,900 units of Nissan and Datsun various models in South Sulawesi, of which 80 percent Comes from Makassar Through GIIAS Makassar 2016, we would like to again provide convenience to customers in Makassar to get closer to the products and after-sales service of Nissan and Datsun. 

The presence of Nissan and Datsun in GIIAS 2016 Makassar provides a strategic role to solidify the position of Nissan and Datsun in South Sulawesi. March, X-Trail and Grand Livina, are Nissan's most popular products in South Sulawesi during the 2015 fiscal year.

Meanwhile, Indriani Hadiwidjaja, Head of Datsun Indonesia, added, Datsun is a global brand that turns dreams of car ownership into reality.This month we commemorate the 2nd anniversary of Datsun since its return in 2014. We became the fast-growing low Cost green car (LCGC) model, which Datsun has sold more than 56,000 units of GO + Panca and GO Panca Datsun across Indonesia in just two years South Sulawesi contributes considerable sales, therefore Datsun will again greet Risers in Makassar through GIIAS Makassar 2016. 

Several awards have been achieved by Datsun during the two years of its presence in Indonesia, among others being the only LCGC producer to market a 5 + 2 MPV vehicle in the LCGC segment and ranked 3rd in the first year of Datsun participation in JD Power Indonesia Sales Satisfaction Index 2015 survey. In addition, Datsun also received several awards and recognition from credible and media institutions, namely: WOW Award for LCGC category from MarkPlus at IIMS 2014; 'LCGC Best Hatchback' for Datsun GO Panca at Indonesia International Motor Show 2015. 'Indonesia Value-for-Money Car of the Year' for Datsun GO + Panca (Frost &  Sullivan Automotive Awards 2016).

During GIIAS Makassar 2016, Nissan and Datsun offer a variety of exciting sales programs. For Nissan, there are lucky dip up to Rp 30 million, shopping vouchers for a total of Rp 15 million (for the first 30 buyers), and exclusively for the purchase of Grand Livina, a Rp 2.5 million shopping voucher. While Datsun offers 'Catch Your Luck' program with many exciting prizes, including sports camera, LG Blu-ray player, Jabra Bluetooth, shopping voucher, and also direct prizes such as window film, gutter and Parrot Audio System.
